Seven things that make me *sigh*:
1. The feel of the hot water when I submerge myself in to my daily evening bubble bath. This is my sacred place where every piece of stress or worry from the day instantly melts away for the 30 minutes I'm there.
2. The sound of my daughter's breathing as she sleeps deeply next to me
3. A "God moment" when I truly feel his presence
4. A random act of kindness from a total stranger when I'm having a bad day. Recently a reader of my blog mailed me the most extraordinary package with gifts for myself and each of my children......HUGE sigh there.
5. Standing on the dock in New Hampshire in August watching rain hit the lake
6. The moment that I discover that a new person I've met could quite possibly be my twin separated at birth. Seriously, the power of connection is awesome.
7. A warm embrace...particularly from my 11 year old son who has Asperger's and is not wired for affection. When he wants to hug me, it's real and heartfelt and moves me to sigh beyond words. Okay...and tears too.
